Who We Are
The BrandGro Story
BrandGro Impex was founded by a group of senior executives from South Africa’s leading retail and sourcing operations. After decades of building private labels, launching international brands, and managing national retail rollouts, they saw a gap in the market: companies wanted to expand into Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands but lacked the right partners to navigate the region.
BrandGro Impex was created to bridge that gap. We deliver smart, scalable and on-the-ground brand and sourcing solutions that bring products to market quickly, compliantly and profitably.

Clive Herbert
Sourcing & Private Label Specialist with global retail experience. Known for his role in sourcing for major retailers in South Africa, Chile, and Tunisia, Clive has built strong global supplier networks and led private label development that drives growth and profitability.

Paul Silverman
Chartered Accountant with 30+ years of cross-functional leadership experience in driving strategic growth and operational excellence in Financial Services across Sub-Saharan Africa. Expertise spans business development and operations, strategy development and execution, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions. finance, human resources and technology.

Co-Founder with extensive experience in cross-border trade, business formation, and commercial structuring. Peter has worked across sectors and regions to help businesses set up efficiently and navigate market complexities, playing a key role in shaping BrandGro’s foundational strategy.

Bruce holds a B.Comm and a Postgraduate in Management Accounting and now focuses on IT platforms and mobile systems. Frederic Joseph Bestel
Master Blender and Founder of Litchquor, Frederic has 20+ years in premium spirits. An entrepreneur at heart, he launched FredBest International in 2011 and Litchquor Ltd in 2012, growing his award-winning rum, Gold of Mauritius, to 30 countries worldwide. He serves as a board advisor to Brandgro.
